Vaikunta Baliga College of Law offers Certificate Course on SC rules of practice and procedure

Vaikunta Baliga College of Law also known as Udupi Law College is offering a Certificate Course on Supreme Court Rules of Practice and Procedure. The certificate course is designed to give awareness to the students about basic practice in the apex court. The registration deadline for the course is February 5, 2023.

The Supreme Court of India has its own practices and procedures, and law students must have awareness of these procedures. To make them aware, Vaikunta Baliga College of Law is offering a Certificate Course on Supreme Court rules of practice and procedure. The last date to register is February 5, 2023.

The course is designed to give awareness to the students about basic practices in the Supreme Court. The content of the course includes Advocates in SC (Senior Advocate, advocate on record (AoR), Advocates (Non-Seniors and non-AoRs), types of jurisdiction, classification of cases, and more, as reported by Live Law.

Eligibility criteria, other details

Law students pursuing 5 years of BA LLB or 3 years of LLB courses are eligible. All participants will be issued the participation certificate after the successful completion of the course.

The total intake of the course is 100 students based on a first come first serve basis. The list of selected participants will be intimated through email. The duration of the course shall be 30 hours and students must have a 70% of minimum attendance to complete the course successfully. The registration fee is INR 200.
