Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurates OPD/IPD blocks of LHMC

Today, the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has unveiled the Outpatient Department (OPD)/ Inpatient Department (IPD) blocks of Lady Hardinge Medical College.
Dr Mansukh tweeted, "Inaugurating New OPD/IPD Blocks of Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospital."
He said during the inauguration, "We inaugurated OPD/IPD blocks of Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated hospital, the infrastructure got ready today, hospital facility and educational institute facility will grow with this and this one infrastructure will be an important platform for treating patients for years. As Dr Bharati was saying that the country along with doctors also needs more infrastructure."
Central govt working holistically in the health sector, says Mansukh Mandaviya
He said that the Central government is working holistically in the health sector. "Modi government thinks in totality and we need to adopt a holistic approach. Earlier, the government used to plan only for 5 years but the Modi government has changed it."
"During a National Medical Commission meeting which was attended by the Principals of medical colleges and other medical experts, I asked whose responsibility it is to ensure health facilities for the people? state governments, central government and health workers force? We are all stakeholders, it is the demand of time to make health accessible and affordable," he added.
He emphasised making health services accessible, affordable and patient-friendly. He said that patient comes for treatment in the hospital and not for any fight, we must always keep the nation first in our heart.
