MARB, NMC tells medical colleges to upload information on website by Dec 17

The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has requested the medical colleges/institutes to display required information on their website linked to NMC latest by December 17.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a circular for medical colleges and institutes of India requesting them to display the required information on their website linked to NMC by December 17.

NMC circular reads, "The Medical Assessment & Rating Board of National Medical Commission has decided to request the medical colleges/institutes to display the information of the college/institution on their website linked to National Medical Commission. The details of the information required is given in the pro-forma attached. All colleges are requested to upload the information before 17.12.2021."

"It is mandatory for every college to display the above information on the public domain for the information. Once the information is entered and shall not be changed or removed. The information can be updated and also any important information can be added."

As per the notification, some of the required information of the medical college/institution that should be displayed on the website are Name, Address with pin code, University address with pin code, Official website, Dean/ Principal/ Director, Mobile Number, Email ID of Dean, Hospital, Date and Year of Registration of the Hospital, Number of Beds, Number of Beds for an emergency, Date of the First Letter of Permission(LoP) of MBBS (DD/MM/YYYY) & the number of seats, Status of Recognition, Number of MBBS and PG broad speciality and super speciality students admitted in this session, Details of Post- Graduation Courses offered, Department wise list of Faculty Members etc.
