GMCET 2022 registration dates announced, check details here

GMCET 2022 schedule has been released by the Global Media Education Council (GMEC). The registration process for exam will start from March 1, 2022 and the last date to register is April 2, 2022. The GMCET will be conducted on April 3, 2022. The GMCET 2022 exam will be conducted in Online Mode. The candidates will be given a time slot to appear for the exam. Candidates are requested to appear at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the examination. The test slots for the exam day will be informed a day before the examination on your registered email and mobile number. Candidates can fill the application forms by logging on to the official website of Global Media Education Council (GMEC). The application fee for the exam is INR 1,000.

GMCET is an all South Asia Global Media Common Entrance Test that offers admission to the Undergraduate media courses. This is the Institution & University level entrance exam which is scheduled in the months of April to September, once each month, this year. The exam is powered by edInbox, South Asia’s largest education focused platform. Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) was earlier known as All India Media Common Entrance Test (AIMCET).

The exam will be of 60 minutes during which candidates have to solve 100 objective questions. The exam will consist of questions based on  English Language & IQ, General Knowledge of News & Current Affairs, Entertainment Media Knowledge and Brands & Brand Communication Basic Knowledge.

How to Fill GMCET Application Form?

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to successfully fill the application form for GMCET.

Step 1: Register for GMCET Exam

Primarily, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of the GMCET by providing all the required details. Candidates need to make sure that the given information is valid and correct. Once registration is done, an automated email with Username & Password will be sent to candidate's registered email ID/Phone Number for future references.

Step 2: Pay GMCET Application Fee

After logging in to the portal, candidates can complete the payment by clicking on Pay Now. Candidates need to proceed to the payment portal and choose Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking or UPI as per their choice. 

Step 3: Submit GMCET Application Form

After completing the fee payment step successfully, candidates would receive the application form summary on their GMCET profile page as well as on their registered email ID. Candidates are required to download the application form summary & save it for future references.
