Admission Process for FMS Delhi 2025
The admission process for FMS Delhi’s MBA program is a two-stage process:
Stage 1: Shortlisting Based on CAT Scores
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT 2024 scores. FMS Delhi gives significant weightage to the overall CAT score, as well as sectional cutoffs.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
Stage 2: Group Discussion and Personal Interview
- The GD and PI rounds assess the candidate’s communication skills, leadership qualities, analytical thinking, and suitability for the MBA program.
- The final selection is made based on a combination of CAT score, GD/PI performance, and academic diversity.

Q: Can I join FMS MBA programme without CAT?
No, FMS Delhi exclusively accepts CAT scores for MBA admissions. CAT is the sole entrance exam recognised for admission into the Master of Business Administration programme at the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. Other entrance tests are not considered for this program.
Q: Can I get into FMS Delhi if I have scored just 68% in 10th and 72% in 12th?
Every year, FMS Delhi Counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates who meet the composite scores are called for the personal interview round followed by release of list of candidates who are provisionally selected. Candidates whose name appears in the list must report to the FMS Delhi admissions office as per the given date and time. Getting in FMS Delhi with 95 percentle in case of General category is not possible but for candidates who aren't from General category still stand a chance. Going as per the past year FMS Delhi cutoff trends candidates seeking admission to FMS Delhi must have an Overall CAT score of 98 percentile if they are from the General category, 90.07 percentile if they are from the OBC category, 82.19 percentile if they are from SC category, 58.1 percentile if they are from the ST category, 85.9 percentile if they are from PwD category and 98 percentile if they are from EWS category.
Candidates who have cleared the GD/PI round and meet all the necessary criteria will be offered admission into the program.
