FORE School of Management welcomes diverse batch of PGDM programme

This year, FORE School of Management witnessed a diverse enrollment process, with approximately 20,000 applicants representing 25 states across India and various academic disciplines.

FORE School of Management concluded its induction ceremony for the batch 2024 - 2026 of PGDM courses, marking the commencement of an exciting academic journey for new students. The event, held with great enthusiasm, featured esteemed industry experts and alumni who inspired the incoming batch.

The ceremony was graced by notable personalities such as Raj N, Founder & Executive Chairman of Zaggle, and Namrata Bhattacharya, Managing Director at Accenture, who shared their insights and wisdom with the students. Adding to the occasion's prestige, Sasmit Patra, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), honored the event as the guest of honor, emphasizing the importance of holistic education.

Diverse Enrollment and Academic Backgrounds

This year, FORE School of Management witnessed a diverse enrollment process, with approximately 20,000 applicants representing 25 states across India and various academic disciplines. The incoming batch includes 35% from commerce backgrounds, 18% from engineering/technology and management, 13% from arts and science, and 1% from other fields. Notably, 37% of the students bring prior work experience, enriching the classroom dynamics with practical insights.

The induction ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests and faculty members, symbolizing the auspicious start of the academic journey. Professor Sanghamitra Buddhapriya, Dean (Academics), warmly welcomed the new batch, highlighting that 57% of the admissions are females, underscoring FORE School of Management's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Leadership's Vision

Dr B.B.L. Madhukar, Chairman of FORE School of Management, expressed his optimism and encouragement to the students, emphasizing the school's dedication to fostering growth and learning opportunities. He urged the students to seize the moment and excel in their chosen paths.
