Hari Shankar Singhania School of Business has announced the appointment of Dr Gregory J Dunn as its new Dean. With a PhD in Business Strategy and Policy from the National University of Singapore Business School, Dr Dunn has rich international experience.

Under Dr. Dunn's leadership, HSB will continue its journey toward excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and global citizenship. His vision, deeply rooted in technology, entrepreneurship, and global business dynamics, reflects the School's mission of nurturing agile and responsible leaders. We are excited to welcome Dr Gregory J Dunn as the new Dean of HSB, and together, we are poised to shape the future of business education and empower the next generation of leaders to thrive in an ever-changing world.

His extensive background in fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and driving impactful change positions him as a dynamic leader poised to lead HSB into a new era of growth and success,” the institute said,

He has successfully developed and taught in business schools in diverse and challenging environments across Central Asia, Saudi Arabia, and Italy. His prior roles include serving as the dean of two business schools in Central Asia, and most recently as Business Programme Director and Associate Professor at the American University of Rome. He teaches and conducts research in strategy, innovation management, organizational design and entrepreneurship. Dr. Dunn's interdisciplinary approach and commitment to integrating technology, design, and business perfectly align with HSB's mission.

His tenure as the head of prominent business schools in Central Asia was marked by the launch of new research institutes and the achievement of AACSB candidacy for the American University of Central Asia, as well as significant growth in student enrollment and interdisciplinary program offerings. Also a recipient of the prestigious NACRA Paul R. Lawrence Fellowship in 2021, Dr. Dunn has consistently been recognised for his academic contributions. His dynamic teaching and research in entrepreneurship, technology and innovation have been recognised in renowned academic journals and professional outlets.

Dr Dunn expressed his excitement about joining HSB and the adventure to come, “I am deeply honored to join HSB and to build on the strong foundation laid by my predecessor. HSB is positioned to become a leading interdisciplinary business school in India and the region, with our graduates ideally suited to start companies or to take up leadership positions in prominent Indian and global organizations.
