ICFAI introduces BCom-MBA, BBA-MBA and BSc Data Analytics programmes

In order to be eligible for the five-year management programmes, students must have a minimum of 50% in Class 12 and must belong to an English-medium background. For BSc Data Analytics, maths until Class 12 is a must.  Students awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply.

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, a Deemed-to-be university introduces various integrated and undergraduate programmes. BBA-MBA and BCom-MBA are the two five-year integrated programmes, and BSc Data Analytics is a three-year undergraduate programme offered by ICFAI at its off-campus center in Bengaluru. ICFAI Business School (IBS) has received government permission for its Kengeri Campus in Bengaluru from this year, 2021. Candidates can join these programmes straight after Class 12. In order to be eligible for the five-year management programmes, students must have a minimum of 50% in Class 12 and must belong to an English-medium background. For BSc Data Analytics, maths until Class 12 is a must.  Students awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply.

Following the footsteps of New Education Policy (NEP) ICFAI Business School has launched all three programmes with multiple exit options. Students seeking ICFAI Business School Admissions 2021 must note that in the case of the five-year programmes (BBA-MBA and BCom-MBA), students can exit after the third year with a BBA or BCom degree. ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed-to-be University), Hyderabad will award these degrees. Meanwhile BSc in data analytics course is divided into six semesters and three levels and students can exit after any. Those who successfully complete the first can exit with a certificate; those exiting after the second get a diploma and those who complete all three years earn a BSc degree.

An official statement released by the ICFAI Deemed-to-be University states, Students can also enter this programme at the start of any level provided “they have the required credits from other universities.” It further adds, “A suitable program chart will be created to manage the units and Academic Banking Credits (ABC) for students entering at level two and three.”

All three programmes will focus on communication skills, critical thinking, inter personal skills and a good understanding of the domain knowledge with focus on applications to the real world.
