Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has launched its first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Titled ‘From Theory to Practice: Implementing ESG and Sustainability in Business,’ this course is aimed at imparting knowledge about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, and how to effectively integrate sustainability into business practices. The course will be available in Hindi and will be hosted on Swayam, a Government of India initiative to offer free, high-quality education in various fields.
IIM Bangalore MOOC Details and Target Audience
The 12-week programme is designed for MBA and BBA students, as well as working professionals and executives who wish to enhance their understanding of sustainable business practices and holistic value creation. The programme will begin on January 24, 2025, and is structured as a 30-hour online course, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for participants.
The last date for postgraduate enrolment is February 28, 2025. Participants who complete the programme by April 30, 2025, will be eligible to take the final examination scheduled for May 2025.
