IIM Bodh Gaya Admission 2024 begins for Doctoral Programme in Management; Last date to apply Feb 29

IIM Bodh Gaya Doctoral Programme in Management: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya is conducting application process for admission to its Doctoral (PhD) Programme commencing in June 2024. Interested candidates must note that the last date to apply online at https://ao.iimbg.ac.in/phd2024/ is February 29, 2024. The Doctoral Programme at IIM Bodh Gaya is offered under various specializations such as Marketing, Economics, Finance & Accounting, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management; Information Technology Systems & Analytics, Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques and Humanities & Liberal Arts (Business Communication).

Applicants applying for the Doctoral Programme must not be more than 40 years of age as on June 1, 2024. Reservations will be based on Government of India guidelines for reservation.

Eligibility Criteria  

Candidates applying for IIM Bodh Gaya Doctoral Programme in Management  must possess one of the following qualifications:

(i) Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average

(ii) Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 % marks or equivalent grade point average

(iii) Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 % marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent

(iv) Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./ B. Arch.) with at least 65% or equivalent

(v) Candidates appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before June 30, 2024.

(vi) Applicants should have taken CAT (2021/2022/2023) or GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF(UGC/CSIR) as per the area of specialization. The date of the examination must be July 1, 2021 or later with score validity on or after 1st January 2024.

(vii) Those who have already passed two-year full-time PGP completed in the last 5 years from IIMs with minimum 60 % marks or equivalent are exempted from the test score and can apply directly. Details are available at https://iimbg.ac.in/programs/admission/

Selection Process

Shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview (PI) will be based on the Test Score (CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF(UGC/CSIR)). Merit List will be prepared based on Personal Interview & Research Aptitude (second stage of PI), Academic Qualification and Relevant Work Experience. Scholarship Details

IIM Bodh Gaya scholarship will be provided to full-time Research Students (PhD). It will cover all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library fees) and hostel fee. Stipend till the Comprehensive Exam will be INR 32,800/- per month; Stipend post the Comprehensive Exam will be INR 35,400/- per month and Stipend post approval of the Thesis Proposal will be INR 39,300/- per month. Additional Financial Support include

(i)Contingency Grant: INR 25,000/- per year for four years

(ii) one time grant to purchase Laptop: INR50,000/-

(iii) To attend Conferences: INR 1,75,000/- for conferences after completion of Comprehensive Exam (Maximum within 5 years)
