IIM Indore welcomes 16th batch of Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management

IIM Indore 16th EPGP Batch Begins

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has commenced the 16th batch of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management – EPGP. Being considered as the largest one year EPGP Batch, has a total of 75 participants. The programme commenced in 2009.  In line with the dynamic nature of industries, the programme underscores the importance of continuous skill adaptation to align with evolving demands. This batch, therefore, will undergo a reviewed programme that will impart the skills that have been identified as the skills of the future. This programme, aimed at nurturing versatile leaders equipped to thrive in an ever-changing professional landscape, will help them embark on a transformative journey as they graduate.

The new batch also received briefings on the institute’s facilities and library resources. The batch comprises a diverse group of individuals, totaling 75 participants, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the classroom. With 12 female and 63 male participants, the cohort represents a blend of genders, ensuring a balanced perspective in discussions and collaborations. Their average age of 32.2 years indicates a mix of seasoned professionals and those early in their careers, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The participants boast an average work experience of 8.4 years, reflecting a group well-versed in their respective fields. Spanning industries such as Automotive, BFSI, Consulting, Education, Energy/Power/Oil, Government, IT/ITES, Manufacturing/Infra, and Other sectors, this batch embodies a rich tapestry of backgrounds, skills, and knowledge. Together, they form a vibrant community poised to engage in meaningful dialogue, tackle challenges, and drive impactful solutions in their respective domains.

The programme was inaugurated by Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore. Chief Guest Vishal Sharma, National Managing Director & President, USI Consulting Leader, Deloitte Consulting India Pvt Ltd; Professor Saurabh Chandra, Chair – EPGP; and Professor Prashant Salwan, Dean – Programmes, and other faculty members were present on this occasion.
