IIM Jammu hosts Online Expert Lecture on Rajbhasha Ke Baare Me Jagrukta

IIM Jammu hosts online lecture on Rajbhasha Ke Baare Me Jagrukta

The Rajbhasha Samiti at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM) Jammu organized an Online Expert Lecture on the topic "Rajbhasha Ke Baare Me Jagrukta" (Awareness about the Official Language). The virtual event aimed to deepen the understanding of the significance of the official language in our daily lives. Professor Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu welcomed Jagdish Ram Pauri, Joint Director Rajbhasha, Ministry of Education, Government of India for online lecture session.

Chaired by Jagdish Ram Pauri, Joint Director Rajbhasha, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, the lecture provided valuable insights and knowledge on the importance of promoting and using the official language effectively in day-to-day work. Pauri, with his vast experience in the field, shared perspectives that highlighted the critical role of the official language in fostering effective communication and national cohesion.

Jagdish Ram Pauri's engaging discourse delved into the nuances of promoting and utilizing the official language to strengthen our cultural roots and ensure seamless communication across diverse sectors of society.

Professor Jabir Ali, Dean of Academics at IIM Jammu, commended the initiative and mentioned that the Online Expert Lecture underscores the importance of language in preserving our cultural heritage. IIM Jammu is committed to promoting linguistic diversity and creating a platform for informed discussions on such vital topics.

The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty, staff, and members of the public, reflecting a shared interest in understanding and appreciating the cultural and linguistic diversity encapsulated in the official language. Shri Shailesh K Lohiya, Librarian, IIM Jammu proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to Mr. Jagdish Ram Pauri for his valuable contributions and thanked all participants for their active engagement in making the event a grand success. The event was coordinated by Rajbhasha Samiti, IIM Jammu.
