IIM Vizag Summer Placements 2024: Highest stipend stood at INR 2.4 lakh, IT & Consulting among top recruiters

The Batch received an average stipend of INR 69,000, with a median stipend of INR 60,000. The top 10% of students received an average stipend of INR 1.58 lakh, and the top 25% of the batch secured an average stipend of INR 1.17 lakh.

IIM Visakhapatnam Summer Placements 2024: IT & Consulting sector emerge as top recruiters 

IIM Vizag Summer Placements 2024: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam has successfully summer placements for the MBA 2023-25 batch. According to the institute, the highest stipend during IIM-V Summer Placements stood at INR 2.4 lakh. The Batch received an average stipend of INR 69,000, with a median stipend of INR 60,000. The top 10% of students received an average stipend of INR 1.58 lakh, and the top 25% of the batch secured an average stipend of INR 1.17 lakh. The top 50% of the batch also received a healthy average stipend of INR 84,000.

IT and consulting Sectors among Top Recruiters

The Batch received multiple offers during IIM Vizag summer placements. The recruitment season witnessed enthusiastic participation by both new and existing recruiters spread across industries and domains. Over 163 companies participated in the process, making multiple offers. This included 103 new recruiters offering roles across various domains. IT and consulting sectors remained the top recruiters, accounting for 26% of the total offers made. The following sectors also saw significant placements: BFSI (23%), manufacturing (14%), EdTech and education (11%), FMCG (8%), retail (4%), healthcare (4%), construction (4%), and other sectors (7%).
