Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released a notification for Karnataka PGCET qualified candidates related to a medical examination for handicapped candidates. KEA will conduct a medical examination for all physically handicapped candidates to ensure reservation status on November 5. All candidates who took the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam and are seeking reservation of seats under the PH special category quota are required to appear for a medical examination as per the schedule. The medical examination will be held at KP Probation Office, Bangalore.
KEA will allocate a medical committee to ensure a seamless medical examination to ensure the disability eligibility required for the reservation. The decision of the medical committee will be final in the matter of eligibility of physically handicapped candidates. Candidates qualifying as per the rules in the medical examination are eligible for seat allocation under the differently abled category.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024: Documents Required for Medical Examination
While appearing for the medical examination, candidates will have to carry a few documents mentioned below:
- Filled in copy of registration form for PG AYUSH/ PG Medical/ MBA, MCA, ME admissions
- Qualifying exam admit card, such as PGCET, AIA PG, etc.
- Any photo ID proof, among:
- Driving License
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Voterโs ID Card
- Medical certificate issued by a competent doctor (doctor must be working in the field of concerned disability at a Government Hospital in the State of Karnataka)
- Students suffering from deafness, mandatory audiometry with latest PTA + BERA audiometry report obtained from any of the following:
- All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore
- NIMHANS, Bangalore
- Manipal Hospital
- Government Institute of Speech and Hearing, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore
Candidates appearing for the medical examination need to report by 10:30 AM. KEA will conduct the medical examination for PH category candidates from 11 AM.
Karnataka PGCET Document Verification Schedule
KEA will soon release the Karnataka PGCET document verification schedule on its official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet24. Candidates will have to appear for the document verification in order of their rank. KEA will release the rank wise schedule for Karnataka PGCET document verification. All candidates qualifying through the verification process will be allowed for allotment of seats based on PGCET ranks.
