MICAT Exam Dates 2025 Releasing Anytime Soon at mica.ac.in

MICAT exam dates 2025 are expected to release anytime soon at mica.ac.in. Candidates aspiring for admission to MICA’s flagship PGDM courses must appear for the MICAT exam. Aspirants must also have a valid score in CAT/XAT/GMAT. MICA typically releases the MICAT exam dates and registration schedule in the second week of September. MICAT registrations for the first exam phase begins with the release of the exam details. 

As per the expected schedule, candidates will be allowed to apply for the phase I of MICAT exam until the third week of November. The phase-1 MICAT exam will likely be held in the first week of December 2024. In addition to the phase I exam details, MICA will release the MICAT II exam details, including the dates and timeline.

MICAT exam pattern, syllabus, and test structure remains same for both phases of the exam. Eligible candidates can appear for either or both of the exam phases. Best of both the MICAT scores are considered for PGDM selection process at MICA.

MICA PGDM Selection Criteria 2025

Candidates aspiring for MICA PGDM admissions must have a valid score in CAT/XAT/GMAT. MICAT exam comprises three sections, namely Psychometric Test, Descriptive Test, and an Aptitude Test. Section A (Psychometric Test) is a qualifier and the scores in the section are not considered for merit list preparation. Section B and C have a combined weightage of 30 per cent in the MICA PGDM selection process.

Besides MICAT 2025 scores, MICA will consider the scores of CAT/XAT/GMAT to allot a merit position in the MICA final merit list. Candidate's performance in GE and PI will also be considered for merit allotment. MICA PGDM admissions will be based on the candidate's position in the MICA final merit list.

MICA is yet to release the MICA PGDM notification for admission to 2025-27 batch. The information provided above is based on past exam sessions.

Q:   Is MICAT compulsory for MICA?

Yes, candidates seeking admission to PGP (PGDM/ PGDM-C) course at MICA must qualify for MICAT. Based on the MICAT scores along with the scores obtained in national-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT and GMAT, the institute shortlists candidates for the next round. MICAT is conducted mainly to choose the right candidate for the course. It’s a complete Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted twice a year in two phases. MICAT registration for the academic year 2024-24 has started. Candidates can apply online on the official website.
