NMIMS partners University of Adelaide to strengthen research and teaching activities

As per a statement issued by the university, this partnership between NMIMS and the University of Adelaide marks a significant step in strengthening international ties and promoting global collaboration in education and research.

SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Deemed-to-be University (NMIMS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Adelaide to establish a framework for collaboration that will benefit their research and teaching activities and further the internationalisation of both institutions.

The MOU will facilitate the exchange of students and academic staff, exchange of publications, academic materials, and other information, collaborative degree programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, participation in PhD and Masters by Research programs by faculty/staff of either University, joint quality assurance and benchmarking, and other projects for mutual benefit that are agreed upon by both universities.

Dr Sharad Mhaiskar, Pro Vice Chancellor, NMIMS, said, “We are excited to enter into this partnership with the University of Adelaide. This collaboration will provide our students and faculty/staff with opportunities to engage in high-quality research and education with a leading institution in Australia. It will also enable us to further internationalise our teaching and research programs.”

Dr Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement) at the University of Adelaide, said, "The University of Adelaide, as one of the world’s leading universities, is excited about the growing relationship between Australia and India. We actively seek opportunities for collaboration in areas such as energy transition and sustainability, agriculture, national security, and cultural awareness. With a multicultural student body of around 30,000 people, the university collaborates extensively worldwide, including with institutions in India. We are very glad to collaborate with Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Deemed-to-be University, one of the India’s top universities”
