Tata Institute of Social Science has announced TISS-MAT for candidates seeking admission to its management courses. The exam will have a separate pattern from TISS-NET exam
Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai has introduced an additional test for candidates seeking admission to its management courses. Candidates who have applied for MA in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM &LR) and/or MA in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL) courses are now required to appear for TISS-Management Admissions Test (TISS-MAT) in addition to TISS NET 2020 which is scheduled on January 4, 2020. TISS-MAT will be conducted immediately after the TISS NET exam. Earlier, TISSNET used to be the only gateway for all admissions in the institute. The Online registration for TISSNET 2020 is underway and it will end on November 25.
Unlike TISS NET which doesn’t have a provision for negative marking, there will be .25 marks deducted for each wrong answer in TISS-MAT. TISS-MAT Score will be considered along with the Stage 2 of the admission process and thus will be considered only for those who are shortlisted for Stage 2. TISS has also revised the process to arrive at the final score for selection to the above-mentioned programmes.
TISS-MAT : 30%
Pre-Interview Test (PIT) : 40%
Personal Interview (PI) : 30%
