Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai has conducted the TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) 2021 on February 20. TISSNET is the entrance exam for the MA programmes and is conducted in 100 test centres across 39 cities of India. The computer-based test (CBT) is conducted for a duration of 1 hour and 40 minutes or 100 minutes. The questions were objective-type carrying multiple choices and candidates had to choose the correct option. The difficulty level of TISSNET 2021 was moderate.

Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking scheme. There was no sectional time-limit in the exam and candidates could switch in between the sections.
TISS Mumbai is expected to release the TISSNET 2021 result in the first week of March. The schedule for further events such as result, TISSMAT and online Personal Interview rounds and declaration of merit list is yet to be announced.
According to the experts and test-takers, the exam was on the expected lines and did not carry any surprise element. TISSNET 2021 was conducted upon abiding by the safety norms and security protocols for the COVID-19 pandemic.
