TN MBA Counselling 2023 Starts Soon; Portal Updated for New Session

The Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, has updated the TANCET 2023 counselling website. Tamil Nadu MBA admission details will be out soon.

DTE Chennai, conducts TANCET counselling for MBA and MCA admission across colleges in Tamil Nadu. Lately, DTE has updated the TN MBA counselling portal. With an update on the counselling portal, DTE stated “MBA/MCA Degree Courses Counselling - 2023 details will be updated here soon.”

As per the TN MBA counselling schedule prediction, candidates can expect the counselling to start in June, 2023. The counselling is expected to be hosted entirely online with basic registration, followed by a document upload process. Candidates with valid documents are eligible for the TANCET rank list preparation.

TANCET 2023 Counselling Process

The space below mentions the TANCET web counselling process for MBA and MCA admissions:

1) Counselling Registration

Candidates who got the TANCET results and scorecard can participate to complete the counselling registration. The TANCET counselling registration is facilitated on the official counselling portal, i.e. tn-mbamca.com. Along with the registration, TN MBA counselling registration requires the candidates to pay a counselling fee.

2) Certificate Verification

All candidates completing the TANCET counselling registration, can participate in the certificate verification process. The online certificate verification round requires the candidates to upload their documents, including the scorecard, hall ticket, among other key documents specifying the eligibility.

Candidates need to upload the following documents for the TN MBA certificate verification round:

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet / Diploma Certificate or equivalent
• Graduation mark sheets for all semesters
• Degree Certificate (Final or Provisional)
• Community Certificate Card (if applying for reservation)
• TANCET 2023 scorecard
• TANCET 2023 hall ticket
• District Medical Board Certificate (only applicable for PwD candidates)
• Nativity Certificate in electronic form / digitally signed e-certificate (If applicable)
• Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee certificate (If applicable)

3) Publication of TANCET Rank List

DTE officials verify the documents uploaded by the candidates. All candidates whose documents seem fit for the admission process get their names included in the TANCET rank list. DTE allocates the TANCET ranks on the basis of the percentile score in the TANCET exam.

4) TANCET Choice Filling

Candidates who get their names in the TANCET rank lists are eligible for the choice-filling round. During the TANCET choice-filling process, eligible candidates need to select their college and course preferences. The allotment of seats under the TN MBA counselling is done based on the preference of the eligible candidates.

5) TANCET MBA Seat Allotment

Allotment of seats in TANCET participating colleges is done on the basis of ranks, preferred choices, reservation criteria, available seats and more. The seat allotment result hosts the names of the candidates along with the allotted college.

Candidates who are allotted seats need to pay the admission fee and report to the college before the predefined date.
