Kakatiya University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), conducted the TS ICET 2023 exam successfully. More than 70,000 candidates took the exam across two days. Out of the total applications received for TS ICET 2023, 5032 candidates were absent on the exam day. As per the official exam calendar, candidates who took the exam on May 26 or May 27, will be able to check the TS ICET answer key on June 5. However, a few media houses claim the release of TS ICET provisional answer keys on June 4.

TS ICET 2023 Number of Applications vs Appeared

Kakatiya University commenced the TS ICET registration on March 6. Candidates were allowed to apply for the exam until May 18. During the application period, as many as 75925 candidates applied for the exam to appear across two days. Out of the total test takers, 35,273 candidates took the exam on the first day creating a 93 per cent attendance rate. On the contrary, 35,663 applicants took the TS ICET 2023 exam on day-2.

TS ICET Registration Statistics

This year, five transgender applications were recived for TS ICET exam. The table below mentions the gender-wise distribution of the total applicants:

Out of all the applicants, 4,450 candidates chose Urdu as the medium of exam. As many as 325 candidates applied for TS ICET 2023 under the PwD category.
