XLRI has completed the final placement process for the PGP batch of 2021 in a virtual mode. Consulting, Finance and Sales & Marketing were the highest recruiting domains. Read the detailed report here.

XLRI Placement 2021: XLRI - Xavier School of Management has successfully completed its final placement for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) batch of 2021 in a virtual mode. The XLRI Placement 2021 recorded a 100 per cent mark for the outgoing batch of 2019-21. Despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis, all the 358 candidates of the two-year Human Resource Management and Business Management course have been placed.

As per the official report, a total of 108 recruiters have participated in the process of XLRI Final Placement 2021. There were 370 domestic and international offers, including 23 new recruiters. The highest domestic offer made was Rs 50 lakh per year from BFSI.

Some of the top roles offered during XLRI Placement 2021 were Consulting, Sales & Marketing and BFSI. The highest number of placement offers came from the Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Co., PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, ITC, PayTM.

33.33 per cent of the students have received pre-placement offers. The median salary stood at Rs 23 lakhs per annum during the XLRI Placement 2021. There is an increase in average salary to Rs 25.08 lakh per annum from Rs 24.30 lakhs per annum in 2020.

The XLRI Placement 2021 drive was participated by 23 new recruiters. The PSUs like Power Finance Corporation and GAIL have participated in the XLRI Placement 2021. Some of the new recruiters included were Mastercard, DE Shaw, Airbnb, DBS Bank, Nykaa, Freshworks, ZS Associates, Tata Electronics, ProgCap, Rebel Foods, IDFC Bank etc.

XLRI Placement 2021: Sector-wise turnout

  • Consulting firms extended offers to 29 per cent of the candidates
  • Sales and Marketing constituted 16 per cent
  • BFSI offered roles to 14 per cent of the students
  • The remaining students were offered roles from various other sectors
