MCC releases list of NRI eligible candidates for NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 1
NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 1: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of NRI eligible candidates.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of NRI eligible candidates for Round-1 of NEET PG Counselling 2021. They need to produce NRI original documents at the time of reporting in case the NRI seat is allotted to them, failing which their allotment/admission is liable to be cancelled.
The official notification reads, "It is for the information to all those candidates who had sent their documents in support of their claim of change of nationality from Indian/Other to NRI, following is the List of candidates who were found to be eligible as per their documents and the directions/orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. (C) No.689/2017- Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. Union Of India & Ors.) dated 22-08-2017. The candidates mentioned in the list will now be able to see and exercise NRI choices for PG Counselling 2021."
MCC of Directorate General Of Health Services (DGHS) has checked the documents sent by the candidates to them and on the basis of these, the candidates have been converted provisionally from Indian to NRI for the purpose of PG Online Counselling 2021, as per the notice.
"The above candidates have been converted provisionally from INDIAN to NRI for the purpose of PG Online Counselling 2021 on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent by them to MCC of DGHS," reads the notice.
NEET PG 2021 Counselling started on January 12. The candidates can register for the first round latest by January 17. The candidates who have successfully qualified for NEET PG 2021 can register for counselling at MCC's official website mcc.nic.in.
