AIIMS Delhi gets new Registrar - Prof Girija Prasad Rath

Prof Girija Prasad Rath has been appointed as the new Registrar (Academics) of AIIMS New Delhi. Currently, he is the Professor of Neuro anesthesiology at AIIMS.

AIIMS Delhi has appointed a new Registrar (Academics) - Prof Girija Prasad Rath.

"AIIMS, New Delhi, welcomes Prof Girija Prasad Rath on his appointment as the Registrar (Academics) and wishes him the very best for a successful tenure. Prof Girija Prasad Rath is currently the Professor of Neuro anesthesiology at @aiims_newdelhi," tweeted AIIMS Delhi.

"AIIMS,New Delhi,thanks Prof Sanjeev Lalwani for his successful tenure as Registrar(Academics). He gets along with people, finds solutions to problems, responsible &always intends to do good. He is currently Medical Superintendent and Professor of Forensic Medicine," says another tweet by the institute.

About Prof Girija Prasad Rath

He joined AIIMS Delhi in the year 2001, served as Senior Resident in Anaesthesiology for 11 months, and served the Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care as SR for 3 years and 3 months. He became the Assistant Professor of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care in September 2005 and served in this post for 3 years and 10 months, and then was Associate Professor for 3 years, Additional Professor - 4 years, and now he is the Professor of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care for seven years.

The online registration for the posts of Junior Resident for the July 2023 session can be done between June 19, 2023, to June 21, 2023. 

Officers Association of AIlMS New Delhi today organized a Cycle Rally to promote a sustainable environment and Green Campus. The rally was flagged off by the Hon Director AIIMS, New Delhi Prof. M. Srinivas.
