DME Assam has released the application form for NEET MBBS admission 2023 for Special Quota candidates. The last date to submit the application form at the DME office is July 14, during office hours. Assam NEET 2023 Counselling: Application Process Open for Special Quota Candidates

Assam NEET counselling 2023 application process for admission to MBBS course for the Special Quota candidates has been started by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam on July 6. The last date to submit the applications is July 14. The Special Quota include Freedom Fighters/Martyr of Assam Movement/Extremist Violence/Ex-Serviceman & Serving Defence Personnel/Sports.

The application form will have to be submitted physically at the DME Assam office, during office hours. The form is available on the official website of DME Assam, which is dme.assam.gov.in. Candidates belonging to the Special Quota will have to fill up the form and attach all the relevant documents.

DME Assam mentions, “The filled up form along with all relevant documents must be submitted to the office of the undersigned (2nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before 14th July, 2023, during office hour by hand.”

Applications sent by post or email will not be accepted. Candidates are also advised to collect the receipt of acknowledgement at the time of submission of their forms.

Fields in the Assam MBBS Admission Application Form

The application form for Assam MBBS admission for the Special Category candidates are given below:

  • Candidate Name

  • Parents’/Guardians’ Name

  • NEET 2023 Roll Number

  • NEET 2023 All India Rank

  • NEET 2023 Score

  • Address

  • Contact Details

  • Category

Candidates have to submit photocopies of relevant documents such as a Category Certificate, NEET 2023 Scorecard, NEET 2023 Admit Card, address proof and a valid photo identity proof along with the application form.

Earlier, DME Assam released the provisional merit list for NEET UG 2023 applicants. Candidates were given the opportunity to change their category or to get their names included in the merit list till July 7.
