AYUSH NEET PG 2023 Round 2: 117 AIQ seats added; 18 Unani seats reduced
Candidates will be shown all available choices against actual and virtual vacancies. (Virtual vacancies are likely to be available when the seat gets vacated during up-gradation). The registration for AYUSH NEET PG 2023 round 2 will end on October 24, 2023.
Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has announced the addition of a total of 117 seats in round 2 of AYUSH NEET PG 2023 counselling.
The following seats are added in round 2 - 5 seats at Government Akhandanand Ayurved college, Ahmedabad, 4 seats in Government Ayurved College, Osmanabad, Maharastra, 12 seats in KLE University Shri B M Kankanawadi Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi, 57 seats in National Institute of Unani Medicine, Kottigepalya, Magadi Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and 18 seats at Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine, naseem Bagh campus university of kashmir Sringar.
"In view of the addition of new AIQ-PG seats in Ayurveda, Unani & Homoeopathy stream, Ministry has decided to ensure equal opportunity to all candidates of AU&H stream by considering all the Round-1 joined candidates for upgradation in Round-2 (even on submission of non-willingness for upgradation at the time of reporting in Round-1 allotted Institute) Candidates will be shown all available choices against actual and virtual vacancies. (Virtual vacancies are likely to be available when the seat gets vacated during up-gradation)," reads the official notification.
Candidates cannot claim virtual vacancies, therefore it is advised to take calculated decision and fill choices of colleges carefully in Round-2, added AACCC statement.
"In reference to letter (Copy attached) from Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar dated 19.10.2023; AACCC, M/o Ayush could not include the PG seats (09 in Moalajat and 09 in Ilmul Advia vide notice dated 18.10.2023 uploaded at AACCC-PG portal) of this College in Round-2. The seats under the program Moalajat and Ilmul Advia may be included in subsequent rounds, based on revised permission letter issued to this college by NCISM," added AACCC.
Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria for AYUSH NEET PG 2023 Round 2:
- Group–I: Newly registered candidate for Round-2
- Group-II: Registered candidates who did not get any seats in the 1st Round.
- Group–III: Candidates who have reported at the allotted institute during 1st Round and submitted willingness for 2nd Round up-gradation as ‘Yes’.
- (Although due to addition of new AIQ-PG seats in Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy streams, candidates in respective streams will be considered for upgradation irrespective of willingness submitted in 1st round)
- Group- IV: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in 1st Round but not Joined/ not Reported. (i.e., availed ‘free exit’)
- Group V: Candidates who have resigned from the allotted seat of 1st Round before the Commencement of the 2nd Round.
