Chandigarh NEET Counselling 2023: Application Begins for MBBS, BDS and BHMS Courses at gmch.gov.in

GMCH Chandigarh has started the application process for the Chandigarh NEET counselling 2023. The last date to apply is July 25, 5.30 PM. The application process is completely online. The Chandigarh NEET 2023 counselling process will be conducted for four medical institutes offering MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses. Know the details here.

Chandigarh NEET 2023 counselling registration process has been commenced by Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh on July 17. The last date to apply is July 25, till 5.30 PM. Chandigarh NEET counselling 2023 will be conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses for the academic year 2023-24.

The application process for Chandigarh NEET counselling 2023 is completely online. Candidates will have the option to multiple courses as there is a single form for all three medical courses. Additional application fee is payable for each course selected and added while filling the online application form for Chandigarh NEET 2023 counselling. Candidate has to pay the total fee online in single transaction.

Chandigarh NEET Counselling 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for Chandigarh NEET counselling 2023 must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens and belong to the domicile of the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

• Candidates must have appeared and qualified for NEET 2023.

• Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as a regular student of school/college recognized by the Chandigarh Administration and situated in the union territory of Chandigarh individually in the qualifying Class 12 Board exam with an aggregate of 50 per cent (General category), 45 per cent (PwD category) and 40 per cent (SC, ST categories).

How to Apply for Chandigarh NEET 2023 Counselling

To apply for Chandigarh NEET 2023 counselling, candidates will have to follow the steps given below:

• Visit the GMCH Chandigarh website – gmch.gov.in

• Click on ‘Admission’ tab

• Register by clicking on “Candidate Registration”. Candidate will receive a confirmation on email including his/her Application ID on registered email address

• Login by clicking on “Candidate login”

• Fill up the mandatory details regarding demographic and educational information

• Select course and candidate category

• Upload Photo &Signature in JPG format (<50KB) and certificates/documents

• Pay the application fee in online mode

• Take printout of Application Confirmation.

Chandigarh NEET Counselling 2023 List of Documents Required

The list of documents required for Chandigarh NEET counselling 2023 is given below:

• NEET 2023 Scorecard

• Matriculation certificate showing the date of birth or birth certificate issued by Government Authority

• Class 10 Pass Certificate

• Class 12 Pass Certificate

• Detailed marks sheet of 10+2 or other qualifying examination

• Applicable Certificate for candidates applying against UT Chandigarh Pool Seats for MBBS/ BHMS

• Undertaking /affidavit that the candidate has not opted and claimed benefit of residence in any other State/UT other than Chandigarh

• Reserved category or PwD/PwBD certificate as applicable

For NRI/OCI candidates, following documents will be required:

• Character Certificate

• Eligibility and Equivalence certificate from both Panjab University and Association of Indian Universities (AIU), for the candidates who have studied from the Foreign/International Board

• Passport/ relevant document (e.g. OCI Card) of Foreign Indian Student(MBBS Course Criteria) or International / NRI (BDS course criteria) from a competent authority

• Applicable Certificate for candidates applying against Category I / II of Foreign Indian Student (MBBS Criteria) seats

Chandigarh NEET 2023 Counselling Process

After the conclusion of the Chandigarh NEET 2023 application process, GMCH Chandigarh will release a provisional list of eligible candidates. There will be three rounds of counselling wherein eligible candidates will have to visit the GMCH Chandigarh campus for the document verification process.

The candidates should bring a separate set of online submitted application forms for each course applied for, along with self-attested copies of requisite certificates/ documents at the time of counselling.
