COVID-19 Impact: NEET 2020 centre change now permitted by NTA
Can I change my exam centre in NEET 2020? Taking care of this desire to change the exam centres filled in the application, arising due to the COVID-19 situation in India, NTA permits NEET centre change.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will now permit changing the NEET exam centres using the correction window. The announcement was made due to the current COVID-19 situation in India. Dr Ramesh Pokriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for HRDM, tweeted that the NEET correction window 2020 can now be used to change the exam centres.
The tweet reads ‘NEET(UG)-2020 applicants, in the view of current #COVID19 situation, I have advised @DG_NTA to further expand the scope of making corrections in the application forms allowing students to include the choice of cities for centres.’
Aspirants of NEET 2020 must note that this is a one-time window. They will be allowed to make changes to then NEET exam centre only once, thus are advised to make the most of this opportunity.

How to change NEET exam centre 2020?
- Click on the link given above
- Login using the application ID and password
- Select ‘Correction in particulars’
- Scroll down to ‘Choice of Examination City’
- Choose the desired NEET exam centre
- Enter captcha and OTP
- Submit the edited version of NEET application form

- The correction window for NEET application form will expire on April 14 (5 pm)
- Candidates must keep a copy of the NEET 2020 correction slip for future reference
- Candidates will be issued the NEET admit card 2020 after considering the exam centre preferences filled by the candidate.
- NEET 2020 exam will be conducted in the last week of May
