FAIMA Chairman invites docs to 17th Global Healthcare Summit on Jan 2

Dr. Rohan Krishnan, National Chariman, Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) invited people especially doctors to join the 17th Global Healthcare Summit. The conference will be held on January 2, 2024, at hotel Le Meridien Delhi at 7:30 pm.

"We are well determined in improving the mental and physical health of the community in general and doctors in particular. We invite all of you to attend the conference organised by AAPI in collaboration with GAIMS & AIIMS Delhi," reads his tweet.

The experts on the panel includes prominent names - Dr M Srinivas, Director AIIMS Delhi, Dr Suresh Kumar, Director LNJP (MAMAC) Delhi, Dr Subhash Giri, Director LHMC, New Delhi, Dr Ishwar Singh, Director BSAMC & IGH, Delhi, Dr Vinay Kumar, President RDA, AIIMS Delhi, Dr Shubham Anand, Organizing Secretary Chairman, GAIMS, other than Dr Rohan.

Earlier, FAIMA had written a letter to the union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya and said that the doctors are overworked, overburdened with hectic duty schedules, mental load, long duty hours without break, leading to loneliness, depression which is leading to an end of brilliant minds of medical field of the nation. FAIMA decided to set up a National Mental Health Task Force to fight the rising problem of mental health disorders and alarming number of suicide cases among medicos. The task force will have psychologist, psychiatrist and resident doctors leader to provide mental support to the doctors dealing with mental disorders.
