CEE Kerala has started the option registration, or choice filling process for Kerala NEET PG counselling 2023 Phase 1. The last date for option registration is August 12, 5 PM. Eligible candidates will have to log in to the official website of CEE Kerala PG Medical 2023 Candidate Portal to complete the process.

Kerala NEET PG counselling 2023 Phase 1 option registration or choice filling process has commenced. The last date to register admission options or choice filling is August 12, 5 PM. Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has stated, “All the eligible Candidates included in the Kerala State Merit list who have applied for admission to PG Medical Courses 2023 in the State can register their options online through the Website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 07.08.2023 to 12.08.2023, 5.00 PM.”

Only those candidates who have registered for Kerala NEET PG counselling will be able to enter the options or choices. CEE Kerala has provided the seat matrix which candidates will be able to access after logging in. The institute-wise fee structure has also been provided by CEE Kerala.

How to Register Options for Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2023

Candidates need to follow the steps given below to register options or choice filling for Kerala NEET PG counselling 2023:

  • Visit the official website of Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2023 – ceekerala.gov.in

  • Click on the link PG Medical 2023 – Candidate Portal

  • Log in by entering Application Number, Password and Access Code and click on Login

  • Click on the tab ‘Option Registration’

  • Candidates can give options as per their priority of the CourseCollege combinations in the option list

CEE Kerala has stated, “A candidate need only give options to a Course-College combination if he/she is sure to join the course and college, under the chosen quota, if allotted. Options registered online alone will be considered for allotment to the courses. Options sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations via Post/Fax/E-mail will not be processed /considered for allotment to the courses.”

Kerala NEET PG 2023 Counselling Security Deposit Fee

General or Open category candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 10,000 and reserved category candidates will have to pay INR 5,000 as a security deposit for option registration.

Free exit has been offered to all candidates during the first phase of counselling i.e., those candidates, who have got an allotment/admission through first phase state counselling, can leave the seats without paying any penalty. But a candidate who does not join the allotted seat in Phase I or who vacates the seat joined in Phase I will not be considered for Phase II allotment.

His/her options will be deleted and will only be able to participate in the Mop-up round wherein fresh options are registered. If a candidate gets an allotment and takes admission in the first phase, the security deposit will be adjusted to the tuition fee to be paid at the College or if he/she does not get an allotment in this or subsequent phases, this will be refunded after the completion of the entire counselling process.

Earlier, CEE Kerala released the Kerala NEET PG counselling 2023 state merit list and category lists. As many as 4,967 candidates have been included in the Kerala State Merit List for PG Medical 2023. The registration process for Kerala NEET PG counselling 2023 was conducted from July 7 to July 20.
