Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Registration Begins at cee.kerala.gov.in; Apply by April 17

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has started the application process for the Kerala NEET UG counselling process on March 27, 2024. The last date of application is April 17, 2024, 5 PM. Candidates appearing for NEET 2024 and aiming to take admission to medical and allied courses in Kerala will have to register for KEAM 2024.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has started the application process for the Kerala NEET UG counselling process on March 27, 2024. The last date of application is April 17, 2024, 5 PM. The documents have to be uploaded by April 24, 2024, 2024.

Candidates aiming to participate in the Kerala NEET UG counselling process, or take admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BHMS, BAMS and allied courses have to register online. Such candidates will have to appear for NEET 2024 scheduled for May 5, 2024, to be eligible for admission to the medical and allied courses at Kerala.

The application process is common for the Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance Exams (KEAM). However, while aspirants for other courses like Engineering and Agriculture will have to appear for the KEAM entrance exam, the medical aspirants will have to appear for the NEET UG exam.  

Kerala NEET Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to participate in the Kerala NEET counselling process.

• Candidates must have passed or appeared for the Class 12 Board exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology with minimum 50 per cent aggregate (General) or 40 per cent aggregate (SC, ST, OBC, Reserved PWD) or 45 per cent (General-PWD).
• Appear for NEET 2024 exam
• Candidates must belong to Kerala, or fulfill the Non-Keralite conditions

How to Register for Kerala NEET Counselling 2024

Candidates will have to follow the steps given to register for Kerala NEET counselling 2024, or KEAM 2024:

• Visit the official website of CEE – cee.kerala.gov.in
• Click on the KEAM 2024 – Online Application tab

• Read the instructions, select the mandatory checkboxes and click on ‘Proceed for Registration’ tab

• Fill up the mandatory fields
• Upload the requisite documents or certificates
• Upload photograph (150 pixel width and 200 pixel height. File size: 15 kb to 100 kb) and signatures (Dimension: 150 pixel width and 100 pixel height. File size: 10 kb to 100 kb.)
• Pay the application fee

The application fee for Medical and allied courses for General and SC category candidates is INR 625 and INR 250 respectively. There is no application fee for ST category candidates. The application fee has to be paid in online mode only, which includes Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

After the declaration of the NEET 2024 result on June 14, 2024, CEE Kerala will open the window for uploading the NEET 2024 scorecard. The Kerala NEET counselling 2024 process will begin tentatively in August 2024.
