How to Fill Choices for Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling
The steps to follow for filling and locking choices for Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling are as follows:
- Visit the official website of Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling - https://medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024/login
- Enter Email ID/Mobile Number and password and click on Login
- Click on the choice filling tab
- Enter the college and course-wise seat preferences
- Lock the choices in preferential order
- Submit the choices
After that, candidates should take a printout of the choice filling page and preserve it till the seat allotment result is out.
The seat allotment result for the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 was originally scheduled to be declared on August 30, 2024, but since the choice filling process has been extended, it is likely to be postponed to August 31, 2024. The institute reporting process is likely to conclude on September 4, 2024.

Q: Who conducts Maharashtra NEET counselling?
Maharashtra NEET counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for various medical and paramedical courses offered in the state under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling.
Q: When will Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling be conducted?
The Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling dates have been announced for the CAP Online Stray Vacancy Round, which was conducted from October 25 to November 5, 2024. The AYUSH and Paramedical course counselling for the fourth round is being conducted from October 31 to November 25, 2024.
While the second round was conducted from September 25 to October 6, 2024, the third round was conducted from October 9 to October 23, 2024.
The Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling dates for Round 2 and 3 of AYUSH and Paramedical courses have also been announced, which are scheduled from September 27 to October 29, 2024.

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data.
