The Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 registration process last date has been extended by a day, till August 24, 2024, 11.59 PM. Originally, the last date of registration was August 23, which has been extended by a day. Other important dates for MBBS and BDS counselling have also been released.

The Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 registration process last date has been extended by a day, till August 24, 2024, 11.59 PM. Originally, the last date of registration was August 23, which has been extended by a day.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra, the counselling authority of the state has released the important dates for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) or the counselling process for the MBBS and BDS courses.

How to Register for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2024

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to register for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2024:

  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling or directly enter the link – https://medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024/registrationInstructions
  • Click on the New Registration tab
  • Read the instructions
  • Enter the details such as NEET Roll Number, NEET Application Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID
  • Enter the OTP received on mobile number and Email
  • Click on Create Account
  • Click on the Sign In tab
  • Enter the Mobile Number or Email ID and password and click on the Login tab
  • Enter the mandatory information such as personal and academic details, choose course and colleges
  • Upload coloured scanned documents in not more than 300 KB file size in PDF

Pay the application fee in online mode and keep save the application confirmation page and take multiple printouts.

Q:   Who conducts Maharashtra NEET counselling?

A:

Maharashtra NEET counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for various medical and paramedical courses offered in the state under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling. 

Q:   When will Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling be conducted?

A:

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling dates have been announced for the CAP Online Stray Vacancy Round, which was conducted from October 25 to November 5, 2024. The AYUSH and Paramedical course counselling for the fourth round is being conducted from October 31 to November 25, 2024.

While the second round was conducted from September 25 to October 6, 2024, the third round was conducted from October 9 to October 23, 2024. 

The Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling dates for Round 2 and 3 of AYUSH and Paramedical courses have also been announced, which are scheduled from September 27 to October 29, 2024.

The first round was conducted from August 17 to September 5, 2024. The registration process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BASLP and B(P&O) courses was conducted from August 17 to August 24, 2024. As of now, DTE Maharashtra conducted the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 for MBBS and BDS courses till September 5, 2024. On the other hand, the counselling procss for  BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BASLP and B(P&O) courses is being conducted from September 11 to September 18, 2024. 

Q:   What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Maharashtra NEET counselling?

A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Maharashtra NEET.
