MCC NEET UG round 3 choice filling and locking 2024 will conclude today for students who have participated in the round 3 admission process for 15% of All India Quota MBBS or BDS seats in medical or dental colleges across India.

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will conclude the NEET UG round 3 counselling 2024 choice filling and locking process tomorrow, i.e. October 10, 2024. The authorities have recently revised the NEET UG counselling dates 2024 owing to requests from counselling authorities and candidates from the state of Bihar. Students who have not completed the MCC NEET round 3 choice filling and locking 2024 before the earlier last date i.e. October 8, 2024, can now complete preference filling till October 11, 2024.

MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Choice Filling and Locking Process

Students can fill their choices and lock them by following the below steps:

  • Visit the MCC website - mcc.nic.in
  • Log in using MCC UG counselling credentials
  • On the homepage, click on the 'Available Choices' link
  • Select your preferred choices by clicking the 'Select Choices' option
  • Click on the Save & Continue tab after verifying the preferences. 
  • Lock your desired choices and print the submitted choices.

MCC has recently revised the NEET UG round 3 counselling dates 2024 at the official website. Consequently, the seat allotment result for round 3 admission will be announced on October 12, 2024. The MCC NEET 2024 seat allotment result will include the names and details of students provisionally selected for admission. 

Q: Β  What is the current scenario of NEET UG Counselling 2024?

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round 2 from December 9 to December 16, 2024. While the payment and choice filling could be done from December 9 to December 10, the seat allotment result was declared on December 12, 2024. The institute reporting process is being conducted from December 12 to December 16, 2024.

The NEET 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round 1 counselling was conducted from November 20 to November 30, 2024. The payment process was conducted from November 20 to November 21, 2024. The choice filling and locking rounds were held from November 20 to November 22, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result was declared on November 22, 2024, and the final result was declared on November 23, 2024, followed by the institute reporting process from November 25 to November 30, 2024.

MCC conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The registration and choice filling process started on October 22 and October 23 respectively. The last dates of registration and choice filling and locking were extended till October 27 from October 25 and October 26 respectively. The provisional and final result was released on October 29 and October 30, 2024, respectively.

The Round 3 was conducted from October 3 to October 19, 2024. 

The NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 concluded on September 27, 2024. The round started on September 13, 2024.

The Round 1 of NEET 2024 counselling was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. 

MCC had announced that the NEET 2024 counselling dates on July 29, 2024. As of now, four rounds of counselling has been announced, which will conclue on November 5, 2024. The total number of rounds may vary based on the number of vacant seats. Ahead of the commencement of the NEET 2024 counselling process,

NEET 2024 counselling dates were announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on July 29, 2024. NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 is being conducted from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The Round 3 was conducted from October 2 to October 19, 2024. The Round 2 registration process began on September 5, 2024 and reopened from September 13 to September 16, 2024. The Round 1 was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. MCC revised the dates on September 13, 2024, with the reopening of the registration process of Round 2 due to the change in seat matrix. As per the revised dates, the last date of the counselling is November 5, 2024. The number of rounds may get extended depending on the number of vacant seats. The state medical authorities will conduct the counselling process for the 85 per cent state quota seats. The dates for counselling were different for the national level and state level admission processes. There will be four to six rounds of NEET counselling, which is the gateway for admission to medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BSc Nursing.  

Q: Β  What is the NEET counselling registration fee?

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.
