NBE cancels tendering process for NEET PG, MDS, FMGE, other entrance exams

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has canceled the tendering process for the conduct of NEET PG, MDS, FMGE, other entrance exams. Title of the tender is "Tender for Conduct of Computer Based Test".
"National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has decided to ‘Annul’ the Tendering process due to No bidders has participated. No queries / Correspondence in this regard shall be entertained," reads NBE statement.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is an autonomous body of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), Govt. of India, entrusted with the task of conducting uniform and high standard exams at Post Graduation level in the field of Modern Medicine.
All entrance tests for admission to Medical courses, with the exception of NEET (UG) are being conducted by the NBEMS. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has under its purview more than 1000 accredited institutions all over the county which are imparting training in 99 subjects, covering both broad (Post MBBS & Post Diploma) and super specialties with more than 7,000 students enrolled for every year for various types of courses.
This Tender is not an offer by the National Board Of Examinations in Medical Sciences, but an invitation to receive offers from vendors.
No contractual obligation whatsoever shall arise from the tender process unless and until a formal contract is signed and executed by duly authorized Officers of the National Board Of Examinations in Medical Sciences with the vendor, said NBE official statement.
