The Queries related to FMGE exam will not be entertained from persons claiming themselves to be representatives, associates, or officiates of the candidate. 

a. Transfer the digital image to a computer/laptop.

b. If required, use the auto-correct feature of image editing software so that the signature is clear against a white background.

c. Crop the image such that the borders of the box are reached.

d. Resize the image to 20 kb – 100 Kb (maintain aspect ratio, i.e. height and width ratio to avoid distortion of image)

a. Transfer the photograph from the digital device to a computer/laptop.

b. Photograph should be clicked in front of the white background. The face should be visible.

c. The size of the image should be less than 80kb. The size of the image can be checked by clicking on the image and then going to the “Properties” link. 

e. Image should be in .jpg/.jpeg format.

f. The image should not blurred in the process of editing.

g. Candidate's face should take up at least 70-80% of the frame.

No, NBE has not postponed the FMGE exam date yet. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 20, 2024. 

A few applicants who were not able to correct the deficiencies in the FMGE 2023 December registration form have been intimated on their personal email IDs to upload/makes changes in the necessary documents. In case the documents will not be uploaded/changed/altered/tweaked last till January 14, 2024, the exam conducting authorities will not issue FMGE admit card to such candidates. The additional timeline has been provided to the applicants to arrange for the right documents required by NBEMS on the FMGE application form.

The FMGE December 2023 exam will be conducted in two shifts in a single day. Candidates will have to appear for the exam in morning shift from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The second shift of the exam will begin from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm on January 20, 2024. 

FMGE exam generally comprise of questions that are of moderate to difficult level. It is therefore recommended to prepare as many MCQs, mock tests, previous year papers to recall and memorise the important topics hailing from 19 subjects to be asked in the exam. 

As per the guidelines of NBE, No content of the FMGE exam should be shared with friends, acquaintances, or third parties including sharing through online means or via social media. In case a candidate violates or breaches this agreement he/she will be liable for penal action and cancellation of the candidature.

FMGE 2023 Admit Card will not be issued to candidates who will be declared ineligible before the conduct of examination. In this case, the entire application fees will also be forfeited. 

NBEMS published a list of candidates on its website who would fail to rectify the deficiencies in their documents even by January 1, 2024. an additional online window was opened from January 5 to January 8, 2024 giving a FINAL opportunity to submit documents that were deficient in the application. No further opportunity will be given to candidates to make changes.

As per the recent notification shared on the official website of NBE, the FMGE admit card 2023 will be issued on January 15, 2024 in online mode. Candidates will only be able to download the FMGE admit card on the aforementioned date.

In case any information or image is deficit or incorrect, NBE informed the candidates on registered email and mobile number to correct and make necessary changes. In case the candidate failed to correct the deficiencies, he/she will not be issued the FMGE admit card. 

NBEMS does not edit /modify/alter any information entered by the candidates at the time of online submission of the application form under any circumstances. In case the information printed on the application form is incorrect, it is the sole responsibility of the candidate.

MCI Eligibility Certificate (EC) is mandatory for Indian citizens holding a Primary Medical Qualification from any Foreign Medical Institution as without EC they will not be permitted to appear/participate in the FMGE exam.

Candidates without original hard copy valid ID proof shall not be allowed to enter the examination premises. Candidates can carry either of the PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card (with Photograph) to the test venue. 

The photograph should not have reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes. It must be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions. IT must be free from kinks, scratches and stains. 

The photograph should be of minimum 35x45 mm with at least 75% area being occupied with the face & head of the candidate. Please note that it should be a Colour photograph with the white background. This is the basic requirement of the photograph to be affixed.

Affix a recent passport-sized photograph on the FMGE admit card. The photograph must not be older than six months. The photograph should be the same one that has been uploaded at the time of filling FMGE application form. 

If a candidate has filled correct details in the application form and it has been misprinted on the FMGE admit card, then he/she must contact the office of NBE and get it corrected. But if the details filled in the application form are incorrect, no changes in the same can be made further.

Candidates need not worry as a first step in case disruption happens. The exam timer will stop when the failure occurs and will resume when the failure is rectified. The exam aspirant will not have to face any loss of time in the FMGE exam time due to disruption/failure.

Manual Attendance with signature and manual thumb impression will be done at the test centre to affirm the presence of the candidate in the exam.

Finger Biometrics of candidates will be captured at the time of registration at the test venue in CBT mode. NBE has mentioned that there will not be any negative marking in the FMGE 2023 December exam. Candidates can attempt all the questions without any doubts about losing the marks.

The FMGE exam consists of one paper, comprising of 300 multiple-choice questions. The exam will be divided into two parts which will be conducted in two shifts. All the 300 questions will be MCQ type questions with each question carrying 4 response options/distractors in English language only.

In case, any candidate reports to the test center with e-Aadhaar Card then please keep in mind that it should be a good quality colour print out with clearly visible photograph.
