NEET 2020 Answer Key: Raise Objections Till Sep 29, No News on Release of OMR Sheets

Objections against the provisional NEET 2020 answer key can be filed up to September 29, 2 pm. There is still no word about the release of NEET 2020 OMR sheets from NTA.

NEET 2020 answer key was released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 26. This NEET answer key 2020 by NTA is provisional and candidates can challenge the answers provided in it if they have a valid justification supporting their claim. The last date to file objections against the provisional answer key of NEET 2020 is September 29, 2pm. Candidates must note that NTA will charge a fee of Rs 1,000 per question from those who submit their objections against the NEET answer key 2020. This fee, however, will be refunded to those whose claims are considered valid. 

NEET 2020 was conducted on September 13. Until last year, candidates used to get a Xerox copy of the NEET OMR sheet upon conclusion of the examination. Owing to the COVID-19 situation, this year candidates could not even have those. Also, unlike the previous years, NTA has not released the scanned copies of NEET OMR sheets online. The delay in the release of NEET 2020 OMR sheets has not gone down well with the students. They feel that NTA must upload the copies of their NEET OMR sheets online to ensure transparency.

NEET Answer Key 2020: What Next?

This year, NTA is giving students a chance to modify/correct the details that were submitted in the NEET 2020 application form even after the examination is over. The last date to submit the edited application forms is September 30, up to 5 pm.

As mentioned above, the objection window for NEET 2020 answer key will be available till September 29, 2 pm. The final answer key for NEET 2020 is expected to be released by October 12. NEET 2020 result will also be released in the same week.
