The last date for reporting to the institute allotted in the first round of NEET counselling 2020 has been extended up to November 16. Second Round begins November 18.

NEET 2020 counselling reporting extended

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for reporting to the allotted institutes for admission confirmation. The seat allotment list for the first round of NEET 2020 counselling was released on November 7. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round of NEET counselling 2020 have to report to the respective institutes for verification of their documents. According to the latest notification released by MCC, candidates can now report to the allotted institutes by November 16, 2 pm.

Candidates must also note that the reporting venue for AIIMS Guwahati, Bilaspur and Jammu has been changed by MCC. Instead of reporting to the above institutes, candidates allotted a seat in these colleges will have to report to the following institutes:

  • Candidates allotted a seat in AIIMS Guwahati have to report to AIIMS Bhubaneshwar
  • Candidates allotted a seat in AIIMS Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) have to report to PGI Chandigarh
  • Candidates allotted a seat in AIIMS Jammu have to report to AIIMS Rishikesh

NEET 2020 Counselling: What Next?

Registrations for the second round of NEET counselling 2020 will begin from November 18. Candidates who had registered themselves for the first round need not register again for the second round of NEET 2020 counselling. Also, only those candidates who have qualified NEET 2020 will be eligible to participate in the second round of NEET counselling 2020. The last date to register and submit the choices for the second round of NEET 2020 counselling will be November 22.
