Students who have appeared for NEET 2020 must be aware of fraudulent agencies claiming to arrange admissions to medical colleges in India, warns NTA.

NEET 2020 fake agencies commit admissions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification urging the students to stay away from the fake agents who are promising admissions to medical colleges using unfair means. NTA has further stated that it does not have access to the phone number or email IDs of the applicants. Therefore, the organisation is not behind the calls/messages to the candidates from such fraudulent agencies.

In the notification, NTA states that admission to various medical courses in India will be on the basis of the marks obtained in NEET 2020 and the merit list prepared using it. Forging the OMR sheets or scorecards will not help students get admission to these courses. NTA has lodged a formal complaint against those misleading the students. The authorities have urged the parents and students to be aware and not to get carried away by such misleading agents. They must register a formal complaint with the local police if they come in contact with any one claiming to arrange admissions to medical colleges using unfair means. They can also write to grievance@nta.ac.in about such agencies.
