NEET 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on July 17. Similar to NEET PG 2022 candidates, NEET 2022 aspirants are also demanding that the examination should be postponed. NEET 2022 aspirants have written to the President of India, the National Testing Agency (NTA), and the ministry of education to demand the postponement of the examination to late August or early September citing the insufficient gap between the NEET Counselling 2021 and NEET 2022 exam and clash with other exams such as the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), and other state exams.

As per these aspirants, due to only three months left for preparation, many students are stressed and postponing the examination will make the students comfortable in giving the paper.

NEET Counselling 2021 was completed in the first week of April. State counselling for BAMS and BDS is still happening in some states.

"The students are confused whether they should prepare for NEET or for other exams as many exams are clashing with NEET. The abrupt reduction in time of preparation without any prior notice has created mental hindrance on students," said the letter.

NEET 2022 exam date clashing with CUET, JEE, EAMCET

The Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) exams are scheduled for the first and second week of July, the second session of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is also scheduled after 3 days of NEET and Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) exams are scheduled on July 14, 15, 18, 19 and 20. Hence, all these exams are clashing with NEET 2022.
