NEET 2023 application form has been released on March 6. The last date to register and submit the application form for NEET 2023 is April 6, 11.50 PM. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 7. Even though NTA has released the official notification on NEET 2023, the other dates such as the application correction, admit card, etc. have not been announced yet.
The NEET 2023 application process is completely online and there are various stages involved in the application process. The process and eligibility criteria have remained the same, however, the application fee has increased by INR 100. In How Many Phases Will NEET 2023 Application Process be Conducted?
It is expected that similar to last year, the NEET application form process will also be conducted in a single phase. In the year 2021, the NEET application form process was divided into two phases. In the first phase, candidates had to fill in the primary fields of the NEET application form and pay the application fee. After the conduct of the exam and before the result declaration, candidates had to complete the second phase of the application, which consisted of submitting information regarding parents' profession, family income, uploading category certificates and other documents, etc.

The candidate should put Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions as per the Template provided. The thumb impressions should be clearly legible. The file size has to be between 10 KB to 200 KB. NTA states, "Further, unclear Left and Right-hand fingers and thumb Impressions in Online Application Forms will also be rejected."

Signature for NEET UG 2023 Application Form
The scanned signature should be between 4 KB to 30 KB. The signature should be made on black ballpoint pen on white paper. The signature should be made in running letter and not in full capital letters. NTA mentions, "In case someone else’s signature has been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered as an Unfair Means Case. Criminal action as per laws of the land shall also be initiated."

Postcard Size Photo for NEET
The postcard-size photograph for NEET should be a colour photograph taken against a white background. The size of the photograph should be between 10 KB to 200 KB and the dimension should be 4"x6". Candidates' face and ears should be clearly visible. Ideally, the postcard-size photograph for NEET should be the same as that of the passport-size photograph.

Factors to Select NEET 2023 Photograph
NTA has given the guidelines to select the passport-size and postcard-size photograph for NEET 2023 application form so that it does not get rejected. The factors are given below:
- The photograph should not be older than six months
- The photograph should be taken against a white background
- 80 per cent of the face should be visible including ears
- Candidate should not be wearing masks, cap/hat or sunglasses
