NEET MDS 2023 counselling schedule to release soon at mcc.nic.in
NEET MDS 2023 counselling will be held for admission to the postgraduate dental courses offered by Deemed Universities, Central Universities, Armed Forces Medical Services, ESIC colleges and 50 per cent All India Quota seats of the dental colleges in India.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is all set to release the NEET MDS 2023 counselling schedule soon at the official website - mcc.nic.in. NEET MDS 2023 result was announced on March 10, 2023. MCC will be conducting the counselling online. To participate in the NEET MDS counselling, the candidates will be required to register on the official website. Then, they need to fill in the choices for colleges and courses.
There will be four rounds of NEET MDS 2023 counselling including a stray vacancy round. The counselling will be held for admission to the postgraduate courses offered by Deemed Universities, Central Universities, Armed Forces Medical Services, ESIC colleges and 50 per cent All India Quota seats of the dental colleges in India.
As many as 1,300 MDS seats are available through the All India Quota (AIQ), deemed, central and ESIC institutes. These will be filled by the NEET MDS counselling.
Only those candidates who have qualified in the NEET MDS 2023 exam can participate in the NEET MDS counselling process. The exam was held on March 1, 2023, the results were declared on March 10, 2023, and the scorecard was released on March 20, 2023. The qualifying cut-off was 50 percentile for general category candidates.
The documents needed during NEET MDS counselling are - NEET MDS result 2023, NEET MDS Admit card 2023, BDS degree certificate, BDS mark sheets, and Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before March 31, 2023), Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC), Birth Certificate or class 10 mark sheet, Photo Id proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport), Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable), and Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable).
