NEET MDS 2024 exam is all set to be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2024. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from 9 AM to 12 noon at 56 cities across India. Around 28,000 candidates are slated to appear for the MDS entrance exam.

The NEET MDS 2024 admit card was released on March 15, 2024, as per schedule. With a couple of days left for the exam, candidates must complete the last minute preparation and follow the instructions given by the exam conducting authority, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Last Minute Tips for NEET MDS 2024

Here are some last-minute tips for the NEET MDS 2024 exam.

  • Candidates are advised to go through the revision notes
  • Do not stress on the weak areas and focus on the strong and moderately prepared topics or chapters.
  • Take a couple of printouts of the NEET MDS 2024 admit card
  • Keep the original photo identity card along with the admit card so that it is not missed out on the exam day
  • Visit the exam centre a day in advance to plan the exam day commute
  • Take the mock test provided on the NEET MDS website to check the navigation system

NEET MDS 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

NBE has laid down the exam day instructions which must be abided by candidates. The instructions are given below:

  • Candidates must check the details on the NEET MDS 2024 admit card and take at least two to three printouts.
  • In case of any wrong information, candidates will have to report to NBEMS.
  • Test takers will have to carry the NEET MDS 2024 admit card and a valid photo identity card such as PAN card / Voter ID /Passport / Driving license / Aadhaar card (with Photograph). Government-issued photo ID must be produced in original hard copy. Photocopies/scanned copies in mobile phones will not be accepted.
  • The entry to exam centre will begin at 7 AM and the entry gates will close at 8.30 AM.
  • Candidates have to maintain silence inside the NEET MDS 2024 exam centre. Use of any unfair means or improper conduct will lead to the debarment of the candidate from the examination.
  • Use of all electronic devices, including cell phones, pagers, calculators, pen drives, and tablets, is prohibited at the examination venue. Candidates found in possession is liable for action. Since examination centres do not have a provision for safekeeping of such devices, candidates are advised not to carry them to the examination venue. They must not also carry pens and pencils. A digital normal calculator shall be provided in the candidate's computer screen.
  • To check against possible impersonation, authorities will verify the identity and genuineness of a candidate by taking their photograph, thumb impression or by any other means at the examination centre.
  • In case of queries or doubts, candidates are advised to raise their hands to call the invigilator.
  • Candidates are not permitted to make a late entry or exit early from the examination centre.
  • Candidates must follow the instructions displayed on the computer screen while taking the examination.
  • Candidates are advised to refrain from tattooing their fingers with henna/colours to avoid difficulties in finger biometric-based registration for the test.
  • List of prohibited items at the NEET MDS 2024 exam centre:
  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, etc.
  • Any electronic device like mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, wristwatch/health band, calculator, electronic pen/scanner, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, necklaces with pendants, badges, brooches etc.
  • Other items like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, gloves etc.
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottles etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth devices, spy cameras etc.
  • No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/Items belonging to the candidates.

The NEET MDS 2024 result will be declared by April 18.
