NEET PG 2022 counselling: BFUHS postpones Punjab counselling for PG medical admissions
After the Medical Counselling Committee postponed the NEET PG 2022 counselling, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences also deferred the state counselling for postgraduate medical admissions.
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has notified that after the Central government has rescheduled the NEET PG 2022 counselling which was schedule to start on September 1, the Punjab government is also going to postpone the online PG counselling for admission to MD/MS/Diploma/MDS/PGDMS/Six months training in Ultrasonography/ Post MBBS Degree/Diploma courses under NEET PG-2022.
The last date to submit online applications for these subjects is hereby extended up to September 7 and the last date for deposition of the fee is extended to September 8.
BFUHS's notification also said that the rest of the schedule and provisional merit list will be uploaded on university's official website later on and the university also advised the candidates to keep visiting the BFUHS site for the latest updates.
Those applicants who want to change the information/data already submitted in the online application form will have to appear personally at the University (Admission Branch) up to September 7 with relevant documents. However, those who failed to deposit the fee by the stipulated period can deposit the same through University Payment Gateway up to September 8.
The official notification reads, "The Candidates who have applied for minority quota seats will report to the Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences, Sri Amritsar (for Sikh Minority quota) & Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana (For Christian Minority quota) for verification of eligibility Minority quota on September 9, 2022. PCMS candidates will submit NOC & eligibility certificates issued by the competent authority proof of fee remittance through email (pgadmissionsbfuhs@gmail.com)."
