NEET PG 2022 Counselling: SC extends last date to apply till Nov 25
Supreme Court of India has extended the last date to apply for NEET PG 2022 counselling to November 25, 2022.
The top court of India has extended the last date for admission to PG medical courses through NEET PG 2022 counselling to November 25, 2022. The apex court has upheld the National Medical Commissionβs plea.
Candidates can now apply for PG medical programmes for the academic year 2022-23 for the All-India Quota (AIQ), deemed, central universities and state quota seats by November 25.
As per the Live Law report, the extension was sought on the ground that as a result of lockdown and later restrictions during Covid-19, the Counselling for the academic year 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 could not meet the time schedule and the commencement of the session was delayed.
Even before the NEET PG 2022 exam was conducted on May 21, 2022, many aspirants protested and demanded to postpone the examination for the same reason as the previous session counselling was delayed unprecedently but the government didn't defer the exam. However, now the Supreme Court has extended the last date to apply for PG medical courses.
NEET PG 2022 counselling cut-off revised

The candidates can check the revised cut-off at the official NBE website β natboard.edu.in.
For the general category, the revised cut-off is 201 (25th percentile) which was earlier 275 (50th percentile), for UR-PwD, the revised cut-off is 186 (20th percentile) and for SC/ST/OBC category (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC), it is 169 (15th percentile).
