NEET PG 2022: Doctor questions govt on delay in Counselling process
Dr Rohan Krishnan, the National President and founding member of the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has questioned the government over the delay in NEET PG 2022 counselling.
Despite massive protest by NEET PG 2022 aspirants to postpone the examination, the government went ahead and conducted the examination on May 21 in computer-based mode and results were declared by June 1. The online NEET PG 2022 counselling is expected to start soon by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). While lakhs of students are waiting for the counselling schedule to be published at mcc.nic.in, Dr Rohan Krishnan, the National President and founding member of the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has questioned the government over the delay in NEET PG 2022 counselling.
His tweet reads, "I sincerely think that media should raise the “double standards” of @MoHFW_INDIA, @OfficeOf_MM. I was informed by our Minister whom I trusted that NEET Pg can’t be postpone to restore normalcy I want to ask now… where is d plan of action for that. Still no sign of counselling!"
One of the replies on this tweet says, "Asking same question from Court Officials who dismissed the plea even after having valid points about #NEETPG postponement. Either Say us clearly that kids "our salary is also provided by govt so we can't go against govt or give the right justice. #NEETPG2022"
While answering the question on NEET UG 2022 postponement demand, one of the senior government officials said, "Exams are on schedule. The last two academic sessions were already distrusted for various reasons, pandemic being the primary. We are trying to bring that on track and that can happen only when we conduct the exams on time. Students should not get misguided by any rumours or claims by private coaching institutes of any postponement," as reported by TOI.
Now, the NEET UG 2022 aspirants are also demanding exam deferment but it seems the examination will be conducted as per the schedule on July 17.
