MCC is expected to release the NEET PG 2023 counselling dates soon at the official website mcc.nic.in. The counselling will be held for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats of MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country.

Medical Counselling Commission (MCC) is all set to release the NEET PG 2023 counselling dates at the official website mcc.nic.in soon. All the eligible candidates based on NEET PG 2023 results will be able to register for the counselling that will be held for 50% All India Quota seats of MD (Doctor of Medicine)/ MS (Master of Surgery) and PG Diploma courses across the country.

Last year, four rounds of NEET PG counselling were held including - Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Rounds, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.

There are a total of 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats available through NEET PG 2023 counselling.

The last year's cut-off for the General category was 275 marks, for SC, ST and OBC, it was 245 and was 260 for general PH category candidates.

NEET PG 2023 Counselling: More Details

NEET PG 2023 exam was held on March 5, 2023, at 902 examination centres across 277 cities. NBE declared the NEET PG 2023 result on March 14, 2023.

Registration for the first round of counselling is expected to start on July 15, 2023. A merit list will be prepared based on NEET PG 2023 cut-off scores, comprising the name of candidates for counselling. Only candidates included in the merit list will be able to register for the counselling.

To participate in the NEET PG counselling 2023, the eligible candidates first need to register, pay the fee, fill in the preferences for college and course and then MCC will release the seat allotment result based on the candidates' preferences. The last step of the counselling will be reporting, that is the selected candidates will physically report to the allotted medical colleges.
