NEET PG 2023 dates not expected anytime soon, says FAIMA National President

While NEET PG 2023 exam is expected to be held on January 23, 2022, the FAIMA National President has said that its dates are not going to release anytime soon.

Dr Rohan Krishnan, the National President of the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA), has said that NEET PG 2023 dates are not going to release anytime soon.

His tweet reads, "Dear Juniors, Don’t panic for the dates of NEET PG 2023. They are not going to release anything about it anytime soon. Keep on studying and preparing. If anything will come up to me i will share it with you guys. In a few informal conversations March was discussed!"

NEET PG 2023 dates will be announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The dates were earlier expected to be out by the last week of August.

The national-level entrance test used to be conducted in January before the Covid-19 pandemic. However, after Covid-19 hit the world the schedule for the whole NEET PG examination and counselling got affected and NBE is trying to restore the same. NEET PG 2023 will be conducted for admission into 19,953 MD seats, 10,821 MS seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by various medical colleges in India. It is the only valid examination for admission to MD, MS and Diploma courses in medical colleges in India.

The eligibility criteria to apply for NEET PG 2023 is the candidates must have an MBBS degree/provisional Pass Certificate recognised by the Medical Council of India. The application fee for the General/OBC category is INR 5015 (including GST) and for SC/ST/PWD/Physically Handicapped, it is INR 3835 (including GST).
