NEET PG 2023: Internship deadline extended again; application window to reopen

NBE has decided to reopen the application window along with cut off date extension for NEET PG 2023. NEET PG 2023 registration window will reopen from February 9 to February 12 on the official website. Along with application dates, NEET PG 2023 internship cut off has also been extended to August 11.

NEET PG 2023 internship cut off deadline has been extended again to August 11, as per the revised dates for the exam. National Board of Examinations (NBE) has also decided to reopen the application window for eligible candidates on its official website. NEET PG 2023 registration window will open again on February 9, according to revised schedule. The last date to submit application form for NEET PG 2023 is February 12. NEET PG 2023 application form correction window will open on February 15 while the final correction window facility can be availed again from February 18 to February 20.

"Desirous candidates who are completing their internship during 01.07.2023 to 11.08.2023 and are fulfilling all other criteria as prescribed in the Information Bulletin of NEET-PG 2023 can apply for NEET-PG 2023 from 09.02.2023 (3PM onwards) to 12.02.2023 (till 11:55 PM)," the notification said.

NEET PG 2023 Postponement

While NBE has revised application dates, exam date has not been revised yet. The decision has been taken amid students protesting to postpone NEET PG 2023 exam. Students say that they have no time for preparation due to tough internship routine and NBE should keep this in mind and defer the exam date. FAIMA and other associations have been protesting in support of students’ demand for deferment of the exam date. On February 7, they held a protest at Jantar Mantar. Reportely, soon they will have a meeting with Union health Minister on this matter.

How to Register for NEET PG 2023?

• Go to the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in

• Select"NEET-PG” on the homepage and click on "New Registration"

• Submit details such as name, mobile number, Email address, and captcha

• User ID and password will be sent to registered email ID and contact number

• Login with user Id and password and enter personal and academic details

• Select test centre

• Upload scanned copy of photograph, signature, and thumb impression

• Pay online registration fee

• Do remember to take printout of the NEET PG 2023 application form after submitting it online

NEET PG or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation is conducted for admission to MD/MS and PG diploma courses. National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the entrance exam annually in computer-based mode. NEET PG 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on March 5 at 271 test centres.
