NEET PG 2023: NBE announces exam date on March 5, 2023

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the tentative calendar for forthcoming NBEMS exams, NEET PG 2023 scheduled for March 5, 2023.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) has scheduled the NEET PG 2023 for March 5, 2023. Earlier, it was expected to be held on January 23. The examination will be for admission into 19,953 MD (Doctor of Medicine) seats, 10,821 MS (Master of Surgery) seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by various medical colleges in India.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, NEET PG used to be conducted in January only but for the last two years the exam and counselling process was delayed unprecedently and NBE is trying to restore it to pre-pandemic time. NEET PG 2021 was held in September while NEET PG 2022 was in May.

DNB/DrNB Final Practical Examination – June 2022 will be held on October/November 2022, Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2022 and Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) 2022 on December 4, 2022, Formative Assessment Test (FAT) 2022, on December 10, DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination – December 2022, from December 21 to December 24, 2022, NEET MDS 2023 will be held on January 8, 2023, Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) 2022, on January 20, 2023, FNB Exit Examination 2022 on February/March 2023, and DNB/DrNB Final Practical Examination – December 2022 on Feb/March/April 2023.

The official notification reads, "candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins/ NBEMS website as the above dates are purely tentative and subject to approvals & confirmations."
