NEET PG 2024 exam date postponed to July 7 by NBE; Latest news
NBE has decided to postpone NEET PG 2024 exam to July 7. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on March 3 in computer-based mode. NBE has extended the cut off date for NEET PG 2024 till August 15, 2024. Candidates will have to register online to submit NEET PG application form 2024.
NEET PG 2024 postponed from March 3 to July 7
NEET PG 2024 exam date has been postponed to the first week of July. According to the official notification, the exam has been postponed to July 7, 2024. With this official release, all rumours and confusion regarding NEET PG 2024 postponement since last two-three days have stopped. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on March 3, 2024. Candidates who will be completing their internship in August will be eligible for NEET PG 2024 exam. The cut off date for NEET PG 2024 has been extended to August 15.
“Candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins/ NBEMS website as the above dates are purely tentative and subject to approvals & confirmations,” The official notification said. NBE has advised candidates to check the official information brochure for dates and details.

NEET PG 2024 Postponement
Earlier there was a chaos and uncertainties among students regarding NEET PG 2024 postponement. Some students were justifying the decision to postpone the exam while others believed it was unjustified. Most likely reason for NEET PG 2024 postponement is internship. Reportedly internship in some states will be completed in July-August, that is the reason NBE has decided to postponed the exam. Another reason could be Lok Sabha election which is scheduled in April-May, 2024.
